I have been on the Parish Council since May 2021, albeit via Zoom meetings in the beginning, and I am pleased to have been elected again in the 2023 Parish Council elections.

I have always been local, having grown up near Stanton by Bridge on the family farm, and then moving to Ticknall when I got married in 1998. We have 2 children who both attended Ticknall Toddlers in the mid 2000s, and their secondary education at Chellaston Academy. Our daughter is now at university and son is studying at Derby College.

I am a builder, mainly concentrating on heritage properties. My free time is taken up with the children's sporting activities, socializing and enjoying the surrounding countryside. I take a keen interest in looking after our village.
